Sept. 25, 2024 鈥� The 2024 CyberCorp Scholars at 成人头条 have been announced. The scholarship aims to increase the workforce of cybersecurity professionals in government.
May 03, 2024 鈥� Christine Cleary was one of 成人头条鈥檚 2020 Rudd Scholars. From Clearwater, Kansas, she moved to 成人头条 for college, which required her to adjust to living in a city, but thanks to the Rudd Scholarship, she was able to fully devote herself to college life and will graduate with her bachelor鈥檚 degree in dental hygiene.
The seventh cohort of Rudd Scholars includes 15 Kansas high schools who have chosen to attend 成人头条. Each Rudd Scholar will receive a full-ride scholarship, which includes tuition, fees, on-campus housing, and considerable networking and coaching support along the way.
Feb. 27, 2024 鈥� The W. Frank Barton School of Business at 成人头条 has named its two recipients of the 2024 Professor Fran Jabara Scholarship in Entrepreneurship. This year鈥檚 winners are Annika Lindeman from Eisenhower High School in Goddard, Kansas, and Abby Rexford from West Jessamine High School in Wilmore, Kentucky. They will each receive more than $32,700 spread over four years to attend WSU and major in entrepreneurship.
Feb. 15, 2024 鈥� Ten high school students from Kansas, Missouri and Texas have been awarded the Koch Scholarship at 成人头条, starting in the fall 2024 semester. Each scholar each will be awarded $30,000 to attend WSU over four years.
Feb. 14, 2024 鈥� The W. Frank Barton School of Business at 成人头条 awarded Faith Swart, a Maize High School senior, the 2024 Clay Barton Scholarship. The $50,000 scholarship is one of the largest business scholarships in Kansas.
Feb. 13, 2024 鈥� The College of Engineering at 成人头条 is hosting a public 5k run/walk that is open to students, staff, faculty and community members. The 5k will be from 9-11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 24 on the WSU campus. Registration proceeds from the 5k will go toward the College of Engineering Needs-Based Scholarship Fund.
Feb. 1, 2024 鈥� 成人头条 has selected the 2024 recipients of the Harry Gore Memorial Scholarships. Each student will receive a $64,000 scholarship to attend 成人头条 starting in August 2024.
Nov. 6, 2023 鈥� 成人头条 is home to nearly 5,000 first-generation students, individuals whose caregivers weren't able to complete a college degree and who lack the firsthand experience to tackle college life. To help with their transition, 成人头条 State offers a number of resources to first-gen students to support them during their time in college, including聽F1RST GEN SHOCKERS.
